A new victory for Real Madrid, their 21st, in La Liga Endesa. Head coach Pablo Laso wanted to congratulate his team for their efforts on the court and the resulting victory. But he also wanted to call for calm ahead of all that remains in the season. The couch feels optimistic ahead of season’s most complicated games: “Obviously there’s a long way to go in both competitions, but I feel optimistic because I see that we’re getting better in practices and we’re getting better in the games and the team’s growth is the result”.
Yet another success. Real Madrid defeated a Fuenlabrada that faded by the moment. Pablo Laso wanted to congratulate his team for their efforts after the game, and also spoke about the injuries that plague his players: “I want to congratulate my team for the win, above all for winning on a court that’s anything but easy, which [the locals] demonstrated from the start. They were very effective in the first quarter, they moved the ball well; we didn’t have a solid defense, above all in the 1-on-1. They’re a team that has dangerous players and a talent for scoring. It’s something that we talked about and we improved throughout the game. Our last 30 minutes were good, especially on defense. Moreover, we arrived after having played on Friday and I have players with a lot of discomfort, like Pocius, who despite his injury tries to get back into the group, although today his was in pain. However, we got Draper back this week. Marty has an injury that’s difficult to recover from, it’s fairly internal, it’s not a typical sprain. Even though he’s back with the team he’s having a hard time and if it’s necessary we’ll take him out again”.

To conclude, the Laso wanted to call for calm due to the fact that, despite the positive results, the most complicated part of the season is yet to come: “Given the results I think we’re having a good regular season; I think we’ve managed to play well games scheduled really close together. Obviously there’s a long way to go in both competitions, but I feel optimistic because I see that we’re getting better in practices and we’re getting better in the games and the team’s growth is the result”.Mad-Croc Fuenlabrada - Real Madrid
