Real Madrid, Liga Endesa leader, faces off against Basquet Manresa, the competition’s second-to-last team who has only won four of the 20 games played this season, tomorrow in the Palacio de los Deportes (6:00 p.m.). The Whites hope that their fans help them keep their record-breaking winning streak of over a year undefeated at home in the regular season. Pablo Laso won’t be able to play Dontaye Draper, out with bursitis in his left heel, and has called up Alberto Martin, point guard from the Junior division. Before the game the Infantil A players will present fans with the Minicopa trophy they won last week Vitoria.
At two extremes. One is the top scorer and one is the team that has ceded the most points. Real Madrid and Basquet Manresa will face on in the Palacio de los Deportes to settle their differences. The squad led by coach Laso wants to reconnect with their fans with a home wins against the Catalan side, who haven’t won at Real’s home court since 1998. Nor does the difference in win bode well for Manresa: 35-3 in favor of Madrid. The Whites have won the last 11 matches against Manresa in the Palacio.
